Heading into its ninth consecutive year, the Matt Barnes Basketball Camp will be hosted at Southern California's Palisades Charter High School (Pacific Palisades, CA) on Friday, August 12th- Sunday, August 14th, 2016. Matt and his highly regarded coaching staff will provide a one-of-a-kind development basketball camp for boys and girls between the ages of 6- 15.
Our team designs the basketball camp to help players at all levels improve their basketball skills and understand the game’s techniques. Our staff provides an experience that gives each participant the opportunity to grow and develop as an individual and as a team player. Campers participate in daily shooting and dribbling drills, teamwork exercises, 5-on-5 games, and strategic skills sessions, while practicing great sportsmanship, character and fair play. Our campers also receive motivating speeches from some of Matt's NBA friends, including past guests, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Jamal Crawford and Trevor Ariza.
The Matt Barnes Basketball Camp is dedicated to the development of our youth community through the sport of basketball. It is our mission to promote and provide the practice of good sportsmanship and encourage the spirit to succeed. Our primary focus is to give each camper a chance to maximize their strengths in basketball and their success on and off the court.
